This report analyses the competencies students develop in the creative subjects at high schools with creative images, and maps the extent to which these competencies are used by the students in their further educations and careers. The study shows that students acquire a range of relevant competencies from the creative subjects in high school on which they can continue to build in their subsequent educations and careers. These competencies can be summarised as four core competencies: cooperation skills, discipline, the ability to perform and the ability to see new opportunities. The study also shows that the creative competencies are actually put to use. Almost twice as many students at high schools with creative images compared with average high schools choose creative educations and progress to creative job functions.
