Temporary residential facilities in the municipality of Copenhagen

The municipality of Copenhagen has during a period of three years established 12 security and care places where citizens, who feel insecure in their own home, can enrol themselves for a stay. It seems primarily to be the security by staying in a care environment while regaining strength both physically and mentally that has a beneficial influence on the citizens. But it is also important during the stay to be aware of how the possibilities are to support the development of the citizens’ ability to manage in their own home again.
