Danish Research in Social Work

This report contains the findings of a study on Danish research in social work. It discusses the terms and limitations, and in this context, poses a number of pressing questions regarding the incorporation of theory in the research, its institutional basis and its financing. Is there an appropriate balance between evaluations and new knowledge development? Is the research subject to ministerial and municipal special interests? And is there a research potential at schools of social work/institutes for social educators that might be better exploited?
