Financing

AKF is financed partly by a basic grant from the Local Government Foundation for Education and Research, partly by grants from research programmes and research councils and by contributions to concrete commissioned research projects. The basic grant is approximately DKK 16 million and the total turnover is approximately DKK 45 million per annum.

AKF's commissioners include municipalities, counties/regions, ministries, agencies, financial and non-profit organisations, the EU and other international organisations. In the course of one year akf cooperates with up to 50 institutions.
