Yosef Bhatti

Yosef Bhatti’s research is centred on public reforms and political participation at the local level.

Among the topics he has investigated are the participation of young people and ‘new Danes’ in local authority elections, the distribution of organisations, and patterns in local authority amalgamations.

He is currently engaged together with Mette Gørtz of the Danish National Centre for Social Research (SFI) and Lene Holm Pedersen on a project concerned with sickness absence among local authority employees.
