Signe Frederiksen

Signe Frederiksen's Ph.D project deals with the connection between institutionalisation and health based on Danish data. Focus is on health parameters as both cause and effect of institutationalisation. The project's primary point of departure is the subject's state of health, including mental/emotional health, long-term health and health in general, abuse-related diseases and consumption of medicine. However, the project also includes a number of relevant socio-economic parameters. Municipal practice and policies will also be included. The project is based on quantitative analyses of register data.
Signe Frederiksen is a post-graduate student of the School of Business at the University of Aarhus.
