Director of Research, PhD, cand.scient.pol. Lene Holm Pedersen’s field is wide with special focus on the interplay between local government, regional government and the state. In addition, she has worked on regulation and energy and climate policy. At present Lene Holm is in charge of a project investigating how local authorities’ declared aim of setting the citizen in the centre has been translated into practice. The project concentrates on the introduction of citizens’ service centres, how innovations by local authorities are spread over time, the formal organisation of citizens’ service centres and the distributive consequences of the demand for increased service to citizens.
