Chantal Pohl Nielsen

Chantal Pohl Nielsen's research covers two main topics:

1) Immigrants' qualifications and how they are used on the Danish labour market. Special attention is paid to the match between job and education as well as the applicability of qualifications gained outside Denmark.

2) Housing and inequality. How has the type of housing chosen by first-time buyers changed over time and which factors determine such choices in the middle income bracket.

These studies are based on quantitative methods and primarily make use of register data but are augmented by questionnaire data where relevant.
