Youth education and further education

AKF's research includes many aspects of young people and youth education. We deal with e.g:

• How do we match the competences the young people have acquired in basic school with the demands laid down in the youth education?
• Most young people begin a youth education. But many drop out - why?
• Young people with another ethnic background than Danish have special problems in completing a youth education. What is to be done?
• What could be done to reduce the problems in getting training places for the young people?
• Does the educational and vocational guidance in the basic school live up to the young people's need for guidance?
