AKF researches into the area of basic school and the pupils, including:

• What do management, organisation and preparation of the classes mean to the pupils' benefit from the schooling?
• Which role do the school resources play, including class size, teacher training, teaching materials etc., for the pupils' benefit from the teaching?
• How important are the school and class compositions for the competences that the pupils take with them when leaving basic school?
